Terms of Use
Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using hudsonlawny.com (the “Site”), operated by Hudson Law Group (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Firm”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. No Attorney-Client Relationship
Use of this Site, submission of a contact form, or any communication with Hudson Law Group through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and the Firm or any of its attorneys. An attorney-client relationship is established only after the Firm has expressly agreed to represent you, typically through a signed engagement agreement. Until that occurs, do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the Site.
2. Attorney Advertising
This website is attorney advertising. It is designed for general informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice or as forming an attorney-client relationship. Past results described on this Site, if any, do not guarantee a similar outcome in any future matter.
3. No Legal Advice
The content on this Site is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Legal information on this Site may not reflect current law in your jurisdiction and should not be relied upon as a substitute for consultation with a licensed attorney regarding your specific situation. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Any case results, testimonials, or descriptions of past outcomes referenced on this Site are not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction of the outcome of any future matter. Every legal matter is different, and past results do not guarantee similar outcomes.
5. Permitted Use of the Site
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Site to:
Transmit spam, unsolicited communications, or malicious content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site
Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law
6. Communications by Phone, Email, and Text Message (SMS)
By providing your phone number, email address, or other contact information to Hudson Law Group, you consent to be contacted by our office by phone, text message, or email regarding your inquiry or, if applicable, your legal matter. This is an opt-in service — you are never required to use text messaging to communicate with us, and choosing not to will not affect our representation of you.
Text messages are not a secure or privileged channel. Standard SMS text messages should not be considered protected by attorney-client privilege or treated as confidential. Please do not send sensitive case details, financial account information, or documents intended to be privileged via text message. If a matter requires confidentiality, use phone, email through our secure systems, or an inperson conversation instead
We use a third-party vendor to manage text messages between our practice management system and our attorneys and staff. That vendor’s own business partners may have limited technical access to messages in connection with providing that service. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You may reply “STOP” at any time to opt out, or “HELP” for assistance. Your mobile number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Hudson Law Group will never ask you, by text message, for account passwords, login credentials, or complete financial account numbers. We are not responsible for SMS or data charges you may incur through your mobile carrier as a result of this service.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of Hudson Law Group or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written consent.
8. Third-Party Links
This Site may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
This Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hudson Law Group shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, without prejudice to any separate rules that may apply to matters arising in New Jersey.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
